Delhi is a metropolitan area located in northern India and includes the Indian national capital city, New Delhi. With a population of over 22 million, the city is also the fourth most populous metropolis in the world. Delhi and its urban region have been given the special status of National Capital Region (NCR).
The NCR includes the neighboring cities of Noida, Greater Noida, Baghpat, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and other nearby towns, and has nearly 22.2 million residents.

Greater Noida, part of the National Capital Region (NCR), is a rapidly growing city in Uttar Pradesh, known for its planned infrastructure, modern amenities, and industrial hubs. Located around 40 kilometers from central Delhi, it is well-connected by expressways like the Yamuna Expressway and the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
From Noida, the distance to Greater Noida is about 30 kilometers, while it is roughly 55 kilometers from Gurgaon. The upcoming metro and road infrastructure further reduce travel time to key NCR areas like Ghaziabad (around 45 kilometers away) and Faridabad (approximately 60 kilometers). This connectivity has made Greater Noida a
prime location for residential, commercial, and industrial development.
The distance from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), Terminal 3 (T3), to Sharda University in Greater Noida is approximately 60 to 65 kilometers, depending on the route taken. Typically, the journey involves traveling via the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) Flyway or the Yamuna Expressway, and it takes around 1.5 to 2 hours by car,
depending on traffic conditions. The route is well-connected, passing through areas such as South Delhi, Noida, and Greater Noida, with smooth roads and expressways making the commute relatively convenient. Public transportation options like the Delhi Metro and buses also provide access, though with transfers and additional time.
